Mizzou Basketball: What's the Problem?

I am really baffled by the Mizzou Men’s Basketball team lately. Yes we started the season off on the wrong foot, but forgive me but I thought we were turning things around and we were starting to win some games. But, now I can see that those few games must have been complete luck because now we absolutely suck!

I don’t understand what our problem is. Last night I was watching the game against Baylor and I had to change the channel because we were just playing like crap and I couldn’t bare to watch it any longer. I grew up in Columbia so I have been raised watching Mizzou sports. I can remember when we had an amazing team and we actually won the Big 8 and went to the Elite Eight of the NCAA tournament.

A lot of people automatically assume that the problem is Coach Q; however, I think some people are just a little quick to point fingers. It can’t all be the coach though because if it was then the team would be consistently bad I think, I mean the team has it on and off nights but lately the players just don’t even play the fundamentals of the game. I think the fundamentals of the game are the most important and for some reason our team just can’t get them right.

I mean am I the only person that thinks something is terribly wrong lately. I think our team is quickly losing the support of the community which is very sad, but we don’t want to go watch a game were we lose by 30 points, that’s just embarrassing.
